CLS originated from Canada and is also known as ‘Canadian Lumber Standard’.

There are various applications for CLS, but the main ones are studwork, framing and internal walls.

All our CLS is supplied from Sweden or Germany. 

Surface finish.

• Planed – PAR (Planed All Round / 4 eased edges). 

All planed material is kiln dried.

Dimensions and Lengths.

Nominal *= The original sizes of the piece of timber.

Actual* = The finished dimension after planing.

Treatment.

Typically, CLS is supplied without preservative treatment but can be pressure treated if required.

We can supply material:

• On a direct load basis shipped directly to your address from our partner sawmills via truck

• Delivered to a UK port ready for your own collection

Certification.

All material is PEFC or FSC® certified.
